Some designers have a certain aesthetic and quality that makes their designs stand out from others. They're innovative and optimistic and they make fashion more worthwhile in the future. I watched the runways for spring 2010 and I made a selection of some of the most fabulous, outrageous, original and exceptional designs.

Always on the lookout for hot designers, I came across this label not so well known to the public but already in business since 2007, Raffaelle Borriello the head designer at Requiem, has an amazing aesthetic in fashion design. His spring 2010 collection has some beautiful pieces, with such simplicity, great necklines, perfect cocktail dresses. It's ultra chic and most definitely fabulous.

Alber Elbaz- fashion genius. His spring collection 2010 is one of my most memorable ones at Fashion Week Paris and very ultra parisian chic. With his beautifully draped dresses and intricate use of fabrics he managed to create some of the most amazing and gorgeous designs. Not to forget his well known aesthetic in ruffled dresses. the collection is an assured inspirational source for yet a new year to come.

Crazy hairstyles - Charlie le Mindu

Some of the craziest hair seen on the runways this season. Hairdresser Charlie le Mindu at London Fashion Week did his thing. And it had freak written all over it. Inspirational? OMG you should check this out.

Alexander McQueen - Genius

It was like something from outer space, watching a scene from the 1997 movie Fifth Element. He is a genius, combining technology, art and design into his work. With these futuristic patterns and shapes, he gives us new opportunities and optimism in the world we live in today. If this is what the future will look like, I can't wait to jump into these suits and fly away. Absolutely fabulous.

Hussein Chalayan for Puma

We know him for his innovative and progressive designs using new technology. He presented wearable furniture and dresses installed with led lights. As the creative director at Puma for over a year, Hussein Chalayan will finally present his line 'Urban Mobility' begin 2010. The line will be a mixture of his exceptional use of talent for material innovation and the function of great sportswear. Think of sneaker heels and dresses that convert into jackets, with hidden pockets and removable pouches.
The items will range from $50-$350. Can't wait for it to hit the stores.
