He was born in Mumbai. After attending the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi, he started his label in 1997. His style is a true representation of his Indian roots, with lots of colors and rich motifs and lots of fantasies. He combines traditional Indian craftsmanship with Western influences. (source wikipedia.org) What I love about his collections that he isn't afraid to be daring and think outside the box. His work is not typically for the masses, but definitely inspirational and add a great influence in today's fashion industry. A designforce to keep in mind for the future.
