Valentino opens virtual museum

Valentino Garavani has teamed up with his partner Giancarlo Giammetti, to set up a new phenomenon, a virtual museum. The museum will showcase over 5000 images, dresses, sketches, celebrity events and most memorable moments in Valentino's career past 50 years as a designer. The designer calls it "a part of my legacy". He wants to share his world with the rest of the world, and with this virtual museum, give access to everyone who is interested in his work. Every once in a while a celebrity starts a business in fashion and creates his/her own collection. Gwen Stefani with L.A.M.B., very succesful brand, the Olsen twins with The Row, equally succesful. But ever since I started following the Rachel Zoe project, I absolutely adore her style and work attitude. She is a hard working celebrity stylist from Los Angeles and she dresses many celebrities such as Eva Mendes, Demi Moore and Cameron Diaz. In 2011 she decided to start her own brand and now she is on the runway next to all the other high end fashion designers in the world. This collection is a true statement of her love for vintage and she has done an amazing job translating this in her looks. I absolutely love the transition she made from just a stylist to a celebrity stylist to an international designer. Her collection combines suits, jackets, tops, platform boots and dresses. This collection is easy to combine many different pieces and it should be seen in every womens closet.Her inspiration for the ss 2012 collection was Bridgette Bardot and that sense of style you feel in the south of France.
