His style is a true representation of his Indian roots, with lots of colors and rich motifs and lots of fantasies. He combines traditional Indian craftsmanship with Western influences. (source wikipedia.org) What I love about his collections that he isn't afraid to be daring and think outside the box. His work is not typically for the masses, but definitely inspirational and add a great influence in today's fashion industry. A designforce to keep in mind for the future.

I absolutely love Hello Kitty as it is almost an obsession for teenagers in Asia and all around the world. When I visited Hong Kong in 2008 there was a real Hello Kitty mania on almost anything you can imagine for sale. Hello Kitty is designed by Yuko Shimizu for the company Sanrio. The character was introduced in 1975 in Japan and has ever since been a true Japanese cartoon icon. She has her own televison series and the HK trademark has grown into a huge billion dollar company. There is even a Hello Kitty airplane made for Eva Airlines. Check out the crazy merchandise from this ooh so fabulous and lovely HELLO KITTY.
