In Vogue - The Editor's Eye, a must see documentary for all fashionistas.

To celebrate the 120th anniversary in 2012 of 'Vogue' magazine, the documentary tells the stories told through the eyes of its most iconic editors, the film explores the cultural impact of 'Vogue' over a century of changing trends in fashion, photography and feminism. Interviews include current editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Nicole Kidman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and others.

"The people who are responsible for the fashion images are the fashion editors," says Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue. "They have always been our secret weapon, so it seemed to me that we could celebrate Vogue, and also, at the same time, celebrate these great editors."

Designer Stop: Leandro Cano

Winner of the 2012 DFT awards (Designer for Tomorrow), Leandro Cano is a talent to be recognized without a doubt. His outstanding, surrealistic and detailed designs left everyone inspired and amazed, especially the likings of the great Marc Jacobs who sponsors the DFT awards.  
His very first solo collection shown on the Mercedes Benz Fashion week in Berlin weeks ago, called 'ANIMA'  is a symbol of opulence, melancholy and romanticism.

Recently I opened my very first Etsy shop, where I sell my handmade crystal earrings. I have always been inspired by things that sparkle and Swarovski crystals are the perfect example of this. I decided to make my own earrings one day and when my friends noticed their interest, I thought why not make more. So here is the result. I am always looking for new inspirational designers. And this lady is definitely worth checking out. Dilek Hanif is a Turkey based designer, started out in 1990 with her own "Dilek Hanif" line and aired her first fashion show in 2002. Her line consists of Haute Couture and ready to wear collection. Winning some prestigious awards since then, such as the "Most succesful female designer" by Avon, she sets the trend for Turkish high end fashion. Her style is the mix of tradition and innovation with a great touch of luxury, which truly encaptures the true essence of Turkish and Armenian origins.

Paris must see exhibit - Balenciaga and Comme des Garcons 2012

If you are in Paris between 13th April and 7th October this year, make sure to pass by the Musee Galliera. In honor of the 40th anniversary of Balenciaga's death the museum showcases an extraordinary exhibit of his amazing historical Spanish costumes. Over 70 pieces dating from the 18th-20th century and 40 couture dresses will take your breathe away and will give you a true taste of couture in its original state.
